Toad Rally is PvP (Player versus Player) in Super Mario Run. You compete with the other player, and the one who earned higher score than the other wins the race. During the competition, you can see the other player's ghost.

To win a victory, you have to get more coins than your opponent earns, since your score will be based on the number of obtained coins.
You can collect a Toad by getting a red coin. Obtained Toad shows up at the bottom of the screen.
You can take Toads your opponent got in addition to that you obtained by winning the game.
